Flammarion Cosmic Gnostic T-Shirt

 

 

This t-shirt design is a bit special. The design itself is by an unknown artist where the original print first appeared in a book by Astronomer Camille Flammarion, L'atmosphère: météorologie populaire ("The Atmosphere: Popular Meteorology"). 

From Wikipedia: The engraving depicts a man, clothed in a long robe and carrying a staff, who kneels down and passes his head, shoulders, and right arm through a gap between the starry sky and the earth, discovering a marvellous realm of circling clouds, fires and suns beyond the heavens. One of the elements of the cosmic machinery bears a strong resemblance to traditional pictorial representations of the "wheel in the middle of a wheel" described in the visions of the Hebrew prophet Ezekiel. One of the most significant features of the landscape is the tree, which some people have interpreted as the Kabbalistic Tree of Life.

 

 

 

We have honorably used this design and created a t-shirt print because it fits well with the ideas that float around this website. A great shirt for those seeking truth.

Each t-shirt is hand screen printed by Cosmic Gnostic onto Black Gildan shirts with White ink. Screen Printing is an art of its own and we've been doing it for 20 years.
